There are loads of nostalgic TV sites around the Internet - try these for starters... www.thetvroom.comA wealth of images from lots of different channels – yes if your interest is in the title sequences of BBC News or just the different idents that channels have used down the years, this is the site for you. There are also screen shots and video clips of classic TV moments like the launch of BBC Breakfast Time in 1983. A similar but much more in depth site covering a wealth of TV trivia and information. There are special pages remembering such TV classics as Nationawide, and Noel’s House Party and TV greats such as Terry Wogan – do you remember Wogan’s Web? There are also all the BBC idents and logos from down the years, plus the stories of the BBC TV Centre power cuts which seem to be a semi-regular occurrence over the years including of course probably the most famous power cut of them all on the opening night of BBC Two 40 years ago. This is a site that anyone with an interest in classic TV clips and trivia will find interesting. 01 October 2007 01:35:30
